I recently discovered that you can buy clear safety glasses at home depot for between 5.00 and 12.00 that are just as good as any of the more expensive "shooting" glasses that I've been using. As far as I can see, they meet osha and ansi impact requirements so what's the difference?

Anyone else do this or is there something I'm missing?

They fog up really bad, the contrast sux on them, they dont fit well. If they work for you then have at it. It is a good idea to always wear eye protection.
