I broke my Wiley XL-1's finally. I replaced them with some Oakely square wires, which are fine for everyday, but I don't think they offer anything for actual protection when I'm on the bike or range. Plus I forgot just how tortuous those earpieces are after 4 hours under Peltors. Since they won't be pulling double duty as my every day wear, I really don't care if I look dorky or not, so I'm considering going with some googles, like the Nerve, CQC, SQ-1's, etc. Can you guys that own goggles (any brand) add some comments on what you have, what you like & don't? Specifically, I'm looking for fog resistance, comfort under tight muffs, and cheekweld. Thanks. |

I've got a set of ESS Turbofans. I have to wear glasses under goggles, and it fogs like a mofo. Have you looked at Bolle? They make glasses and goggles, as well. If you do have fogging issues, the best stuff I've used is McNett Op Drops. I did try some antifog for scuba, and the Op Drops were much better. |
