What parts are needed to convert a metric FAL carbine to a Para model? I know the lower must be changed, but I am unsure what other parts will need to be changed to complete the conversion. Any help is appreciated. |

Para specific parts: Lower receiver ( a standard lower can be modified easily to para configuration) Buttstock assembly including mounting bolt Rear sight assembly Body cover (also called a top cover) Bolt carrier Recoil springs (including the inner coil spring guide) The upper receiver must be "para cut" if surplus Para top covers are used.
