Interesting article on sub caliber conversion kit I stumbled across while looking for something else. Thought y'all would like to read it.

I was very tempted to buy one of these kits from a recent gun show.  I just could justify spending $1000.00 at the time.

ETA:  The kit was metric.

I'd buy the metric kit in a heartbeat for $800 or less. It would be the perfect accessory.

Collectibility aside, I can't help but think most people would be better served with a 10-22 tweaked-out with a pistol-grip stock and a very few other goodies.
The difference in price would buy a LOT of practice ammo.

Unfortunately I don't have a class 3 10/22 but....... I do have for the FAL. A 22LR kit would make for untold plinking FUN in auto.

Very few of us are as fortunate as you.

My advice was intended for all shooters regardless of the configuration of their firearm.

I understand and feel very fortunate I have what I do. I love the 10/22 and have 2 rifles and one of the new Chargers also. Great guns and tons of fun. Hope one day the Heller decision will help us kill the 86 ban so I can get a auto trigger pack for the 10/22.
