For anyone waiting for an FDE ACR, they are at Cabelas. I didnt ask the price, I just walked past the gun counter and saw it. No finger banging

The caveat? It was still the dinky basic model, which is lame IMHO. Had it been FDE enhanced, I probably would have purchased it right there

As long as they are still overly heavy, stripped down and way to much Ill never buy one

I have to admit that a $2700 price tag is a bit much.

How much was it?

What was Cabela's charging?

Who cares, it'll be gone soon enough...

I'm still waiting for the Rev2 Enhanced - that will be an awesome weapon.

Basic FDE model at Rapid City, SD Cabelas for $2300, after fingerfucking it I might have to get one to keep my SCAR company.

Meh, I'd take a black with a folder. FDE doesn't do anything for me.

Can't justify the $$$. Maybe after the enhanced is out for awhile I might spring for a basic at some reduced cost. But it better be well below $2k

You can buy a pre-86 FA for that price! AZHONKY

$2700+       It better be a gold lined barrel with a diamond optic

That's a pimped out piston rifle with SBR/SBS stamp

WTF are they charging for, seriously  Plastic

Valley Forge?

Best price I saw was $2089. Not to bad I'd say. Still way too much for what it is, but at least they aren't on crack and asking $2800 for them. I did see a couple dealers that had them for more then that, but that was the best price I saw.

Yup that was it. I think the most id pay for one of those is 1700. It seems most new modern rifles go for no more than that

I saw them as well, same show.
After seeing them in person, I have to say that I'm pretty impressed.
My only gripe (like everyone else) is that it lacks a folding stock.
No doubt I'll be picking up basic version once I have some other firearms priorities taken care of.

Don't get me wrong, I like the platform. I don't like the price tag. (isn't that always the case??? )

If they were going for $1500-$1800, I think they would be flying off the racks. But they aren't, so they sit around. I'd take a folder once a couple of people get them, use them, and sell them. It won't be too long, but I liked the basic I had.

I think the basic/standard ACR is a better looking rifle. I don't care for the FDE ACR color either on this gun, at least in the pictures. I would like to have the adj. LOP but that's it. The full stock looks good and would be more robust. Folders are over hyped and seems to be a weak link on plastic stocks types. Just something else to go wrong. But having choices is still cool.

You should get the Coyote Brown ACR to keep the black one company. I did.
