Anybody got the scoop on these, how's the quality, I've heard it's good, true? anyone care to put a number on the value of one, in say 95 to 98% any other information would be nice too, I'm alittle in the dark here |

buy it. value should be in the $1000 + range, depending on condition. i just got my hands on an xg3s (same gun, they started stamping x on the model right before the '89 ban) and i couldn't be happier. long as it is all orignal with matching serial #s on the receiver, butstock, bolt&carrier, and triggergroup and says "made in portugal" on it, it is an HK rifle. the portugal factory was built by HK so it is all HK specs. just about all these rifles were imported by pars international. it should have a date stamp on the magwell too. if you can't buy and actual HK, an actual portugal is the next best thing -
