Greetings all, I am relatively new to the forums and spend most of my time in the SF forum but am finding myself spending more and more time in this great corner of the site. A couple of weeks ago (Nov 13) I mailed in my very first order to the CMP for a Springfield Service Grade M1 and a can of Lake City ammo.
Here's my question: does the CMP send some kind of confirmation email that they have received/approved the order, or do we just stand by and wait for the shipping notification from FedEx? I may just be impatient, I mailed my order from CA and I may just be jumping the gun here. If they do send a confirmation, how long can we typically expect? I appreciate all the great information here, you all have certainly helped me make the Garand jump. Regards, LABlackRifle |
| I placed my order via USPS Priority for a Sevice Grade Garand and a can of Greek HXP on clips on Nov. 12th. I talked to them last Tuesday, and they were only up to processing orders placed on the 10th. You WILL get an e-mail when they process it, and when they are ready to ship. I haven't got my e-mail yet, but expect it any day. |
