What would you value a nice 95% sear cut gun with matching serial numbers BEFORE Obama? I have got someone that has offered one to me for $3,500 shipped. Seems a bit high, but.... thoughts?

If it is a Steyr (or even Katsenes) import, type III receiver genuine FN FAL, it is kinda high. Pre-BHO value, around $2500+-.
If it is a type I receiver with a G prefix serial number and on the amnesty list, it is a good buy.

Thanks for the note...it is a type III then. It is not a "G" series gun. I wish it was as I would have already bought it. I think that I saw a "G" series gun go for like $7K on GB recently...

a gun where the upper receiver was produced at the factory with the auto or "safety" sear cut made in the receiver. with work, legally done mind you, it is capable of full auto fire. of course it'd have to have been registered before '86
