Local shop has a Factory FN FAL for sale.  Its in great shape and he can give me a decent price on it.  Its supposedly unfired.  After I buy an AK I'm looking to buy another MBR.  I already have a HK-91a3.  I can get the FN for about the same price as a new DSA.  I imagine it will hold its value better than the DSA.  How do they compare in quality?

If you can get a genuine FN in new condition for about the same price as a new DSA, definitely go for it.  That's a steal.

Hell a good genuine FN FAL can go for $2500. Buy it, sell it and the buy three DSArms STG58's.
