| Anyone have one of these? I've never had a semi-auto shotgun so I'm curious about what kinds of ammo it will feed. Is it pretty finicky or will it eat most but the really light loads? |
| I took mine out for the first time this weekend. WWB 7/8 ounce loads would not cycle. Winchester Universal Loads with 1 1/8 oz. shot would not cycle. The manual says that they do not recommend using anything less than 1 1/4 oz. I went out and bought a box of Remington Long Range dove loads having 1 1/4 oz. of shot. Went through the entire box in about a minute and a half, not a single malfuction. Going to the range this weekend with some 3 inch slugs to see how she does. |

I took mine out the for the first time and it did not like my game loads and then after reading the owners amanuel I found that they have the heavy gas system in from the factory so I changed it out for the "RED" one and it went off with out a hitch.. I shot it in a Tactical match the other day and it was kick ass smooth.. My question is that they say that it is 7+1 and I can't seem to get 7 in the tube what as I doing wrong>>??? Is there a plug in there that I am missing?? Thanks Mgunslinger Love the FN |

Got mine a couple of weeks ago. Traded my M1Super90 for it. The M1 is a great gun but the wife hates it. The softer recoil of the SLP should be just the ticket. Am hoping to do some shooting with it in the coming weeks. Planning on breaking it in with a number of full power loads and then trying various lighter loads to see what does and doesn't work well. |
