I've owned mine for about a year. Bought it used, put about 300 shells through it without a single hiccup. I just made it my SHTF shotgun instead of my FN SLP just because i've come to the conclusion i feel better with a pump in any type of bad situation.

Anyone else with an FN Tactical Police here? How do you like it? Any issues? Round count? Is it the original or built in Arizona after FN discontinued it?

I have a Winchester 1300. It works great.

I wouldn't mind having a TPS if they didn't have a goofy sight setup or odd stock. I prefer simple non pistol grip stocks with bead or low height ghost ring sights.

I have one, pretty cool shotgun, but then I like odd things.  Have no idea how many rds. are through it, it's my shtf shotgun, and it doubles as my turkey slayer as well.  Mine says Fredricksburg, VA on the barrel, I had no idea that any were built in AZ.  I've modded it a bit to make it more to my likeing.

Looks good! I too like odd things. As far as being built in Arizona, i believe once FN discontinued it they sold off all the existing parts to Scottsdale Gun Club here in Arizona. They assembled them and sold them in there store and online. You can tell if it was built here if it has an X after the serial number on the receiver. The ones with the X i usually see $150 to $200 cheaper than the original model.

Ah, I see.  No "X" in my S/N.

I figured it didnt. Yours looks to have a choke, i want to say all of the ones put together in Az did not.

Yep, my Winchester 1300 Police has served me well for 24 years.....A good copy should also work good too.

So you want a standard Model 1300?

Pretty much. I wouldn't mind adding a Win 1300 to my collection, but the new Winchester just doesn't feel the same like the old Winchester. Buying used is one option, but hunting a good used 1300 takes time. Finding an 18' barrel version is even harder and I hate cutting barrels on a discontinued firearm.

Nice set up!  I typically use the Vltor scout mount, and surefire on my fore end, it was the only way I could figure out how to keep the switch in reach at all times.  If you ever get a chance try out the enidine recoil tube, kicks less than my M2 with it, otherwise I don't do well with 3" ammo.
I've been thinking about a Burris Fastfire, or other micro dot sight for mine, but have'nt gotten around to makeing a decision.
