| What action is the FN Tactical based off of? Is there a surefire grip that will fit it? What are the best ways to mount a tac light on this shotgun? Thanks alot |
Check Surefire's website. They offer (2) different fore end lights for the 1300/FN. I just picked up a FN w/Surefire fore end myself. Very comfortable and of course it's a Surefire so it's friggin' bright and dependable. Here's a gratuitous shot of my new baby: The only other way to mount a light would be with a RAS but I'm not aware of anyone making an RAS for the 1300 at this time. |
Thank you. Yes, it's an ARMS #22M68 with a 1/2 height spacer. Without a spacer, it's straight co-witnessing. That's to say that the irons are right in the middle of the Aimpoint's glass. I tried cantilever spacer (which I really wanted to use) but co-witnessing didn't happen. The 1/2 height spacer puts the irons in the lower 1/3 of the Aimpoint's glass, just like my AR. |
