Form 3 are business to business, are you FFL/SOT? Form 3 has a limit of 30 days. If not approved call the ATF-202-927-8330, with the serial number...if pending, it is in system. The FFL needs to call their examiner and find out its progress if beyond this time frame. If it is a form 4, 90 limit, lately they have been 2-2 1/2 monthes. If the ATF is not cooperative at the number above, use the same number and ask for Brian, you may get his assistant, she is also very good at resolving the problem. These two people are not ATF employees, they are hired by the ATF to improve service. Brian has performed an act of god for me already to get a form 3 approved. |
yea it could take that long but from what I'm seeing and hearing from others, that is not the case. Example: Submitted 1/21 approved 1/25 submitted 1/9 approved 1/16 FWIW....YMMV....JMHO Bomber |
