Am I the only one who burns their left thumb on the gas ejection port?

| The port isn't just an exhaust for excess gas. It is also where it is to give tool access to the gas screw (the actual gas port in the barrel is a hollow threaded screw that can be removed and replaced with larger or smaller ports to tailor the rifle to a specific load or to lower pressure for suppressor usage) so, considering where that is located, it pretty much has to be in the position it is in. |
