Any ideas on how I could get a factory 10.5" SBR from LMT?  I have heard from most that it cannot be done.  But there was a few guys posting picks of 10.5" SBR's and calling them factory.

Is there a big difference in a "Factory" LMT SBR and one that someone assembles from seperate LMT Upper and Lower?

Factory SBR's are on the NFA registry and transfer on a form 4.  Making your own requires you to engrave the lower with your info

ETA:  Just talked to G and R Tactical.  Their price on them is $1500 and I am not even sure if that includes a sopmod stock.  Too rich for my blood.

I don't think that's that bad.  If you are looking for cheaper, I think there's a class 3 dealer on the EE under the NFA section that sells 10.5 & 11.5" factory SABRE SBRs.  I haven't looked in a while.  He might be out.

Well, it is more than I wanted to spend.  Especially when you take into consideration that I could drive about 7 miles and get a Colt 6933 for the same price.
