Anyone else seen one yet? Local funstore had one on a -17. Made it just a little more desirable to me...

they look nice but unless you really need all that extra rail i wouldnt get it. adds another 9-10 oz to the front of the rifle.

The rifle didn't feel very heavy with it on there but I haven't handled the SCAR a lot. Looking at the PWS extension, it looks very similar to the FN unit. Shoulda studied it a little better.

IIRC the PWS has a lowered front rail and the FN one has the top rail at the same height as the rest of the upper rails on the rifle.

They have been around for a decent amount of time. I think you can find one online without much trouble. The FN version only comes in black and they all look a little "off". I don't need the real estate, so I never considered one. If that Vltor version ever comes out, I may be interested.
