So after several trips through Google about the hearsay of the horrible Sig556 mags I failed to find anything about them here on arfcom. So fellas how about it? anny hands on with these mags? anyone actually had any good experiences with them? I do know that they arent up to par with some mags on the market, anyone can tell this by handling them. But heres what I have noticed, that the bullet tips ride close to the front mag wall so they may have some issues clearing the feed ramp. I do usually give my mags a tap (no matter the brand) to insure proper placement of the ammo and to make sure its seated against the rear of the mag .However with a loaded mag and manually cycling the mag to empty I had no issues. I do know thats not close in comparison to live fire but I think I may be confident to say I may not have a horror story on my hands.
so how bout it any one noticed any issues with their factory sig mags? any one have a remedy? Im not posting this to hear what mags are best (magpul and lancers are the shtf go to) just really wanting some hands on info about the subject. I found some info on "other" sites but think our little community here could use some input on the matter. |
