So after several trips through Google about the hearsay of the horrible Sig556 mags I failed to find anything about them here on arfcom. So fellas how about it? anny hands on with these mags? anyone actually had any good experiences with them? I do know that they arent up to par with some mags on the market, anyone can tell this by handling them. But heres what I have noticed, that the bullet tips ride close to the front mag wall so they may have some issues clearing the feed ramp. I do usually give my mags a tap (no matter the brand) to insure proper placement of the ammo and to make sure its seated against the rear of the mag .However with a loaded mag and manually cycling the mag to empty I had no issues. I do know thats not close in comparison to live fire but I think I may be confident to say I may not have a horror story on my hands.

so how bout it any one noticed any issues with their factory sig mags? any one have a remedy?

Im not posting this to hear what mags are best (magpul  and lancers are the shtf go to) just really wanting some hands on info about the subject. I found some info on "other" sites but think our little community here could use some input on the matter.

I didn't have any problems from my factory magazine. I shot probably 30 rounds from it and 20 more suppressed and it didn't fail to feed.

My Sig factory double fed or the bolt jamed up on the case with Federal 55gr FMJ and TAP 75gr. My PMags and USGI worked without issues. When you can get USGI for $8 why chance using the Sigs.
