[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Favorite Grip Material/Texture?

For an EDC fixed blade, whats your favorite grip material/texture?
I have a CRKT Kasper Companion and I'm looking to upgrade the grip. Thinking either stippling the existing panels or removing them and going with a paracord wrap. I'm leaning towards the wrap.

micarta, or kraton. i hate paracord wrapped handles, they look like the knife was never finished, to me. like someone got lazy, didn't want to shape scales or drill holes and said "maybe i could just wrap an old T-shirt around one end of the tang. OH WAIT! i have some paracord, that'll work great" i also think they feel awful, when you really put the knife to use.

Linen or canvas micarta.

I think there are benefits to both paracord or micarta, but that being said, on my personal carry knives I use canvas micarta.

I like both micarta and paracord. The only drawback with the paracord is cleaning it up after skinning or gutting. JMHO
