What's your most favorite gun, and why?

Yeah, that kind of depends on the situation, but I've shot a mdl 94 since I was a wee bairn. I'm even more comfortable with those than with a 1911.

It was a close one, but I chose my Miller Colt 1911 closely followed by my Garands

My select fire M6A2 w/10" barrel from LWRC!

I picked bolt action, just love the feel and going through the motions.  Close behind would be lever action and pump shotgun.  Probably the same part of me that enjoys a manual transmission that much more.

U.S. Rifle Caliber .30 M1––––- so I picked autoloading rifles

1911.  Why you ask?  Cause they fit my hand like they were made just for me.

To hard for me to decide, i've got something in just about every category and really like them all.

Tough question.

Probably my H&R 1871 Buffalo Classic.

I love my SMG's tough choice between the UZI and Mp5 though. I just love how compact they are and deliver awesome firepower and can be so quiet with a suppressor.

For me, it's the Remington Model 870 Wingmaster, followed by the 1987 Gunsite Service Pistol (Similar to the modern Springfield Mil-Spec), followed by the Garand and M14, followed by the M16 and M16A1 and then the XM177E2.

SMG is fav for now. I haven't had a chance to try the M16 yet, so the favorite might change soon.

Of all the guns I own, there is one that stands out head and shoulder above the rest-

My mutt M1 Garand.   Springfield Armory 1.1 million serial number  (Jan 1943).

Favorite gun would be a winchester M94, so I voted levergun. Close second would be the AR M4 type carbine.

My absolute favorite gun is my Sig Sauer West German P226 9mm that was given to me on my 21st birthday. That gun has a lot of personal history to me. Otherwise though it's my Marlin 336C .30-30, w/ XS sights and soon to be scoped.

FN FAL, of the South African/Rhodesian variety, to be specific. With the long buttstock, the rifle feels like it was custom fitted. Accuracy is more than acceptable. It looks totally bitchin' and sleek. It's .30 caliber, brutally easy to maintain, rock solid reliable, and parts are cheap and available. The history behind it further adds to the appeal. All that, and I built the one I'm keeping by myself, and it was really fun and easy.
