Federal Champion Target Auto Ammo
has anyone tried this ammo?
its about $15 or $16 and it comes in a box of 325
just wondering if its any better than the 550 value box

It is more consistent than the 550, but The Federal blue box 510 found at Wal Mart if very nice(never had an issue in anything) and only 16.00 for a brick.

oh never saw it. and you personaly find it better shooting than the 550?

Federal 510 ammo is really good stuff! $14.70 a brick of 500 at Wal-mart.

i think im lost here. you say there is a box of 500 of fed 510 ammo ?
and this is better than the reg box of 550 fed value pack?
and if so how since the 550 box shoots great

The 550 box sometimes gives failures in rimfires, some shooter have had bad lots and such. It is a great round for the value but the 510, has been proven more accurate and I have never had a failure of anykind with it. Some have noted it as being cleaner, don't really have an opinion with that though.
It is a lead roundnose 40 gr.

never heard of the 510

ive seen the 325 round box of match ammo though
