[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Federal HST Bullets?

Is it possible to get these bullets anywhere??? I've heard that Federal doesn't market components but figured I'd double check on here. It just seems odd not being able to get them as Remington and Speer both sell their bullets...

Nope––HST are not yet available as a component

There is no substitute. Those things expand to a larger diameter than any other bulet.

Well I have a 1000rnds 9mm and 1000rnds 40cal of HST. I don't shoot much of it as it is for PD and SHTF. I am looking for something to possible reload as a 2nd line to HST.
Closest I can see is Speer Gold Dot or Hornady XTP. I hope I never have to use that much, just wanting a backup plan.
