Anyone using the factory-threaded barrels from Federal for silencers?  Any problems with the threads not being concentric to the bore?  Accuracy issues?

From Lone Wolf Distributors website:

I'd like to get one of these for a Glock 17 to use with a Trident9, but don't want to start getting baffle strikes.

Would I be better off to just get a Glock 34 barrel and have it threaded?

I'd say don't bother.
For a few bucks more, why not just get the Lone Wolf threaded G17 bbl.?
This is not where you want to cheap out.

Okay, so I had to click forward a few pages to find the LoneWolf barrels.

Same question though - are these okay?  Baffle strike issues?

Thanks.

The FAC barrels had good threads and were concentric. However, the alignment shoulder at the back was rounded and not square. They needed to be put in a lathe and have the shoulder trued.

Lone Wolf barrels are good right out of the box.

Thanks Phil.  That's what I was looking for.

They are made by olympic arms, then sold bulk to FAC

All of the ones I ever saw from FAC had a sticker on the barrel that said "made in Korea."

All of Lone Wolfs Barrels are made in Korea but they made it right this time.

I was told it is the same people that make the Daewoo barrels and their Daewoo pistol.

Who cares. I'm happy with mines and it runs good.
