For those who are waiting on a Ferret50, we have 39 that are rolling out of here Friday. Our last shipment went out July 30th. I think we are getting the hang of this "production schedule" thing. We will be caught up with our backlog by November and will ship out #200 by Christmas. Finally started getting the Supermatch barrels in from Lothar Walther, and they do look nice. In the past couple of months I have been working on a few projectile designs, which so far have worked well from the standard barrels. In a week or so I will be trying them out of a Supermatch barrel. The chamber in the Supermatch is allowing projectiles to be loaded .010" from the lands and still be fully loaded in the case neck. We have more new barrel option coming out soon. One of which is the .408 CheyTac. I will be selling them as assembled uppers and as kits to convert exsisting Ferret's from 50BMG to .408 CheyTac. The kit will consist of a barrel, brake and bolt. It will also include barrel wrenches and headspace gauges. I will post pricing as soon as I can. We are looking forward to Shot Show in a few months that will be 30 minutes from us in Orlando Fl. We plan to put on a good showing. Aside from our current lineup of product, we are working on machined lowers from 4140 steel and a rig for bench rest shooting. The Manatee shoot on the 15th went very well. We had a good turnout and a good time. We will be planning another shoot soon, maybe closer to Orlando. Dave |
