It began with a PVS14 and a TW Bump, for me, too.

It has become a PVS14 for my girlfriend, and for me ARNVG Supergain and TAD eCOTI and several Raid Xe's, now, a couple of years later. Be careful.

Thanks! These are cropped. The originals are pretty ugly.

I'm already saving up for some duals. Not sure when I'll be able to pull the trigger though. Right now, I'm trying to figure out a laser/iluminator...

There are a few night shoots around dfw. I'll try to hit them all now that I have my setup...

I'd definitely put the MFAL above duals on priority list. I know some people will disagree, but I found and find a mono to be just fine for anything I do, including running, jogging, etc over uneven terrain. Of course, I grew up doing this without NODS. I really like my Raid Xe's, but if I were using it PURELY as an "assaulter" type setup, the switchology of the MAWL is awesome. Since it's more of a "do-all" for me, I went Raid Xe to shave 5oz off the front of my gun, and traded far more features for slightly quicker to access features. Really, VCSEL is the way, whatever you choose. That way you aren't upgrading to VCSEL later when you finally encounter it and see how awesome it is. That said, the OG PEQ15 has put more people in the dirt than the old .22 LR, so there's that.

Fp peq in lnib condition keeps you around 2k. I just really like the newer stuff, but nothing wrong with a peq.

Congrats man. Next time a night shoot happens I will be in touch. There should be a variety of MFALs out there for you to try hands on.
