Well took the plunge on my first suppressor yesterday!  Tirant 45 with 9mm piston.  Paid $764 for suppressor and extra 9mm piston.  Going to be used on my S&W M&P 9 full size.  Trying to locate a barrel for it, but think I will just order through the dealer who quoted me $180 for AAC barrel.  Don't know if I can post the name of the dealer or not, but super helpful and knowledgeable.  Good thing my 2 year old has taught me patience, because I am in for a long wait I guess  Any helpful tips will be appreciated

You can buy a threaded barrel from places like Silencer Shop, Capital Armory, etc or any of the other industry silencer dealers.  You can look at places like Midway and Brownells for Storm Lake barrels as well.  I have a MP 40L Performance Center that I have a 40cal to 9mm conversion barrel that is threaded from KKM Precision.  Only place where I could get a conversion barrel for the long slide and be threaded.  The barrel is more accurate then the factory barrel and me.

Tip: Don't be surprised if you don't see it for well over a year.  Also you can never buy just one: it spreads to rimfire, rifle, and to a PCC too

I'm already wanting one for my ARs  Probably be a year or more before that happens though  I looked at all the dealers you mentioned and the EE here.  Like I said, probably just get the dealer to order it for me

Good thing for you is that you have time on your side so you can wait for deals.  If I remember correctly, there has been sales on sico barrels that beat that price recently.  Again, you have time on your side and the holiday season is coming upon us where some of the best deals of the year can be had during that time.  In my opinion, I would least wait until after the holidays time before I buy a barrel from the dealer to see if there are any deals to be had.

Just picked up my SiCo Omega two days ago, and my Rugged Obsidian yesterday.  So I have the rimfire, rifle and Handgun now covered.  They are addicting for sure.  Next year this time is going to be like Christmas for me but the wait will be easier, to me, when I have all 3 bases covered.

Congratulations on purchase. I would shop around for the barrel during the next several months and look for sales. I have gotten an M&P threaded barrel for less for $140 shipped from Midway so it's worth looking.
