Finally got my hands on paramilitary 2! Been trying to hunt one down for over 6months. I wasn't gonna pay the $200+ they go for on eBay..
And it's got some sweet custom g10 scales :)

Good deal you'll love it .
Although I've yet to go back to mine after buying a Southard a few months ago

I've already got a southard, so I have a rotation going that this will join with my southard, gayle bradley, and strider sj75

I like the scales I need to do a set on mine.
I don't own a strider but the GB goes in rotation that one is a lot of knife for the money.
It will take a while but I'm sure the para2 will be plentiful once again right now its easier to get a striped lower

I picked one up back in July just before annual training, great little knife, opens the shit out of MRE's
I was really impressed how little effect two weeks in the dirt had on the little knife, the opening mechanism never got jammed up nor did the finish suffer any ill effects. I am much more inclined to like Spyderco's now than before. Still not sold on the style but the quality is definitely there.

Very nice, do you know who did the custom work?  If I'm not mistaken, looks like your blade was coated (blue spydie and markings).  Love the scales, too.

They don't have any either.  Only place that seems to have them is Ebay, and it looks like they are running $160 plus.  I'm glad I have 2 already.  Does anyone know why they are so hard to find?  They were cheap and plentiful a few months back.  Is it just a supply and demand thing?  I can't think of any other Spyderco model that is this hard to find.
