Most people get them done at teir local police dept or other local law enforcement types. Most will charge a small fee.

Here, you just go to the booking area of the jail and they do it, but you may have to wait b/c they only fit it in when no Guards are busy.

It is just a big scanner and then they tell it what type of cards and stick them in the printer and it prints them.  Last time I just took a stack of 50 and they printed them all on the printer and I have been using them ever since....

What are they guarding?

Out here they are all Deputies and go back and forth between the road and the jail every 6 months.

My local PD rolls open prints  1 or 2 day a week (been 5yr since last set) at no charge.  I think my last set was the "you bake'm" type (red ink and heat).

Been discussed elsewhere (one of the more popular c3 sites), a number of people been rolling their own, get an ink pad from 1 of the LE supply places, and practice, then roll your own.

I have heard about the scanner prints. They do our school teachers like that but not at law enforcement yet.

I got them on base, for free, and they print them with a computer, so I got like 20 copies made :)

In TX go to the DPS facility and have them do them electronically. They print out as many copies as you want. I think it's $10 for 4.

IMHO, do NOT do ink fingerprints.

I just walked in the security forces squadron and asked for fingerprints.

I guess they assume it's for security clearance stuff, but I just played along :)
