Here's a pic or two for ya of the blade I was working on.

9.5" OAL, 4.9" of blade.

Yes I was cheap and used screws. They didn't look as nice as pins would, but hey...that's what I'll work on next time.

The Blade looks real good, real good. What did you use to attach the guard?

Interested in making one for sale? Maybe no guard, with paracord wrapped rayskin?
