| Got my first C-93. Saw one the other day at my local gun shop. Pretty Impressed with it so far. A bunch of FTE in first couple of rounds with the first magazine. Then I switched mags and not a single problem. I was using AE, PMC, UMC and Wolf. All cycled the gun without any problems. The finish was good looking and the bolt gap was at .010. Will post some pics later. Just wanted to brag about it a little bit |

Good to hear, I am considering one of these instead of a vector right now...wondering if they were worth the time and effort. I was in the same situation, but after reading the horror stories with the C93 I went with the Vector instead. Not a problem and no shrinking bolt gap |

Quoted: Good to hear, I am considering one of these instead of a vector right now...wondering if they were worth the time and effort. I have a couple of friends that have C93's. Each of them is happy with their purchase, but they all have had bolt gap issues that have required, at a minimum, over sized roller installation. My Vector V93 on the other hand has been perfectly in spec since the first round fired, and I've had to do nothing to it thus far. I figure this: A roller replacement is easy and cheap, and when bolt gap starts to go, it's the first line of repair. Why start a "new" gun with having to replace the rollers for over sized ones? It takes away a repair option at a later date when bolt gap begins to shrink. Hence why I prefer the Vector. If you can inspect the C93 prior to purchase and check the bolt gap, it may be worth it, as they are very cheap. YMMV |
| Congrats on the new rifle! I've got a C93 as well. Not many malfs. Had some failures to eject initially but after cleaning the extractor real good it got better. Still happens every now and then though. Try giving your barrel extension (I think this is the right term) a real good cleaning. After I did I actually gained .001" bolt gap. Though to be honest I could probably use a set of +4 rollers myself. |

OP....um, pic(s)?
I was ready to buy one myself, but wound up building a FAL in stead. Quoted:
Congrats on the new rifle. The bolt gap is on the low end, you may want to replace your rollers with some +4. to expand a bit..you should determine what size rollers are already installed before buying. Odds are they are standard size, though you never know. More info here |
