What was the first firearm you ever fired ???

[#1]
A Remington 572 .22 pump

Colt Python

Colt Series 70 1911.45 all in the same day. I was probably 10 years old (it was almost 30 years ago) so I don't remember which one was first.

I have the .22 pump and Series 70 today, they were my Dads. The Python was my uncles.

My dad's 870 Wingmaster in 12 gauge.

I was 5 or 6, I think. Kinda ruined me on guns for a while, until I got ahold of a .22.
That's where my BRD started.

870 Wingmaster 12ga at 7, I still have it.  My old man was rough when it came to shooting.  He said I needed to be able to stand behind that before I messed around with the 22lr.  I guess that is why recoil doesn't bother me a whole lot now.

Ruger 10/22. I was 4, and Jimmy Carter was in office.

Passed the marksmanship requirements on the first day and was told not to come back the rest of the week... shouldn't have tried so hard

20ga 870 later the same day.

ETA: M16A2 with blanks when I was 5.  Not sure if that counts

Remington Model 11 my father gave me years after he quit hunting.  When I refinished it I found a 1945 hunting license in the butt from the man who owned it before him.

I was 5 years old, my dad took me out to the foothills and we shot at cans. He died a short time later so the next time I shot I was 11 years old and it was at summer scout camp.

The first rifle I ever fired was my grandpa's Marlin Model 60 .22LR when I was 5 years old. The first handgun I ever fired was a "liberated" Sauer M38H in .32 ACP that belonged to a friend of my grandpa, and I was 7 when I got to shoot that.

Ruger 10/22, was the first gun I owned as well and still have it Parents HATED guns at that time and no friends had one so I had no chance to shoot one. I bought my own days after I turned 18 and have been shooting and collecting since. My parents have since lightened up on guns, especially when I gave my dad his first pistol, a Kimber 1911. Now my mom wants a gun too LOL. Funny how ppl change views once they understand it a little better.

2.5" Smith and Wesson model 66 .357.  I nailed a pop can at fifteen paces.

It was my Dad's off-duty carry gun.  I have since become the proud owner, and it's still my favorite handgun.

My grampa taught me to shoot, he started me out on his .22 revolver, he then bought me my own .22 revolver.

I earned the right by demostrating proper gun safety to shoot that .22 of his then I proved myself with that an he bought me my own.

I then moved up to a .22 marlin that was a tack driver.

I got to shoot his 9mm ruger after I proved myself with .22's

Then he let me shoot what ever I liked since I proved to him I could shoot anything with large amounts of recoil.

Old gampa isn't doing well lately. :/
