I loaded up my first rounds!!!

and they all worked flawlessly. I started out reloading 300 black out. Even the slow stuff cycled my AR15 10.5 inch Noveske barrel.

I used Maker 200 Grain .308 Expanding Subsonic Blackout and once fired gemtech brass that I cleaned and resized.
Length: 2.1180
Powder: 1680
Primer: CCI 450
Suppressor: Gemtech GMT-300blk
Mag: Gen 3 20 round PMAG
Loads: 5 of each grain count 10.0, 10.2, 10.4, 10.5

10.0 on left. Speed (896, 881, 891, 886) avg: 889
10.2 on right. Speed (877, 903, 922, 922) avg: 906

10.4 grains. Speed (the chrono didn’t read any of them(I think my dad turned off the chrono ))

10.5 grains. Speed (986, 977, 985) avg: 982  *(looks like I am going to load up a few using 10.5 grains)*

My work bench.

What program do you use to measure the bullet hole groups? Does this seem right for my 10.5 grain group?

The Ballistic AE app has decent info on it.  It has a lot of other stuff also but the grouping thing looks like this.

Where did you buy the projectiles from? Never heard of them before.

Straight from the manufacturer. I wanted an expanding 300 blackout bullet at subsonic speeds and while researching they came up alot. They are called Maker Bullets. Come to find out they are based in GA about 2 hours from me. I read nothing but good reviews about them.

OOFF!

$42 for 50 bullets = $0.84 per bullet,... just the bullet!

Is it just me or do the holes look like the bullet was tumbling?

The holes were straight through. The target i built out of 2x2s with hard plastic material on both sides like on signs on the side of the road. Both the front and back hole through the plasitc was round with no signs of tumbling.
