There's already another Form 1 in the pipeline as well as a Form 4 for a suppressor...

ETA:  Well, the Form 4 is waiting on a Form 3 transfer first...

Looks good, but that's not a pistol, legally.

If you didn't have a stamp, you could end up in the clink.

You are correct, that is not a pistol, but since you know from clicking on this thread that he has a stamp, there is no issue.

Agreed - but someone coming here looking for info that's a noob and doesn't know much about NFA might think "Oh, all I have to do is leave the stock off my carbine lower extension and it's a pistol!"

Stamp or no stamp, the middle picture is *not* a pistol.  That's all I'm saying.

You didn't use a pistol buffer tube. Instead, you used a tube that is capable of accepting a stock.
Without a stamp, that's a no-no.

Incorrect, the stock is the only item that would make it a rifle.  Without it, there is nothing more than a pistol in the picture.  An extension does not a rifle make without a stock...

AlabamaPaul is correct. Sorry for the poor quality, it's the best I have right now:

The stamp is in, so it's a non-issue.

While I learned something here, I could have been a little more specific. As outlined in the document shared above, possession of a stock that will fit on that receiver extension, even if not attached, could cause someone problems.
This is why most people go with a dedicated pistol buffer tube.

Regardless, enjoy it. Hopefully I'll have my eFile F1 back any day now.
