I have my trust signed and notarized and I am ready to buy my first suppressor.

I want one can that I use on 2 hosts, I have a Ruger 10/22 and a Buckmark. I have read a ton reviews and compared sound tests on the Silencer Forum and I think I am more confused than I was before. Nevertheless I think I am leaning towards the Sparrow. The only thing that concerns me is the FRP that everyone says the sparrow has, everything else I read about the sparrow I like. Should I be worried about the FRP or is it just as noticable on other 22 suppressors?

If there is another one I should be looking at please let me know.

Sparrow, AAC Element, SWR Spectre II, Liberty Kodiak. Budget cans are another story, but you'll be happy with any of those. You probably won't notice the FRP too much.

The 22LR market is loaded with good silencers.

I haven't heard much about the Spectre 2. Are there any reviews on those?

Sparrow... FRP is only noticeable with pistols and can be easily fixed with a squirt of water from a nasal spray bottle.  Love my Sparrow!

Well, I finally did it. I decided on the SWR Spectre 2. Nobody had one in stock around here so I ordered it online from silencershop. Now the long wait.

Good choice. Just as easy to take apart as the sparrow but IMO the Spectre is MUCH easier to put back together.
Plus the Spectre is a K baffle design so it'll have a quieter fsp

Did you go to Cherokee gun and pawn? Actually what about Hi Caliber? Last time at HiCaliber they had some SWR suppressors.

Cherokee gun and Pawn has Layaway for NFA items, they send off your papers the same day, you have 3 months to pay, if you do not finish paying by 3 months, they request your form to be cancelled and returned.

I checked at Cherokee Gun and several others in the area. I did not know that High Caliber was stocking suppressors now. I am having it transferred to Big Woods
