Well I had my first stuck case today a .458 SOCOM and would have made a bar maid blush, after calming down and getting the Redding stuck case removal kit out that I bought because I figured I would do it sooner or later I had it removed in about five minutes it took longer to go get my tools and drill out. Best $20.00 I spent.

What lube were you using?

Glad you were prepared, and had a fast fix.

A stuck case remover kit  should be in everyone's stash of  reloading gear.  Some people have taps and drill bits already and can fashion their own, I just bought a kit, had to use it once, for a buddy's stuck case

Using Lee .458S dies?
I sent mine back and ordered Hornady's.
I love Lee dies, but the .458's got the worst
reputation ever!  Some runs of their dies work good
and others are junk.  I'm still waiting on Hornady to deliver
so I can start playing with my thumper!

No I have the Hornady dies and they work great I have loaded about 500 rounds so far,  I just didn't get enough sizing wax on this one case
