This may be a stupid, or funny question, but, has anyone put a Noveske flash hider on their M1A? I really like them. My other question would be, how would I go about installing one? Since that whole section is connected, it doesnt give me threads to screw it onto, any help would be great, thanks.

Looks like they are designed for ARs. If they have the correct threads, you might be able to have the last section of the barrel cut of and recrowed. Ifthey arent the right threads then you might need to cut the barrel down then have the correct ones added

Just my ideas

Ive looked at them and they say that they make one for 7.62, so I figured it would work, problem is, again, is there any other way to add threads? And would this work? Saw it in another thread after I posted http://www.smithenterprise.com/imagesprod/socom_kit.lg.jpg
Or do I have to have the barrel threaded, wouldnt I lose the front sight? If thats what it takes, Im not doing it, but, if it was something semi easy, I would

How do people add vortex and what not flash hiders? Wouldnt it be the same way?

Delta P designs makes an adapter that will convert you to 5/8x24 (ar10) threads and any and all muzzle devices will work.

I have one on my scout and mounted an AAC brake for my can to mount on.

I have a .308 Noveske KX3 threaded 5/8x24, in fact its the first KX3 so threaded (they did it special for me at the beginning of KX3 production...).

Its about to go on the EE.  If anyone is in it drop me an IM.
