What is the best one?

Thanks

Have it threaded and put a Vortex or Phantom on it.

I prefer the Choate, as it is short and the protective ears give a G.I.-like sight picture.  Closed bottom on the A2-style FS avoids kicking up dust.

Go to www.perfectunion.com for all Mini questions.  It's your best bet.

+1 for the Choate, M14 type front sight really helps with accurate shooting.

I had one on my Mini14, but those are now illegal in Calif.  The Choate M14-type supressor adds about 4" to the barrel lenght, but your rifle has the appearance of a miniature M14, which I think looks kind of cool.

Yes, Choate used to make both a short, AR-style, and a longer M-14-style.  Not sure if the M-14-style is still offered, but since we are suppressing a .223, and not a.308, it's additional length is not needed, IMHO.

+1 for the short type.  I have had both and prefer the short ones.

I have the Eagle HK-style front sight/flash suppressor on mine.  It works very well.  The front sight on these is very high so if you get one, take a file with you to the range so that you can zero it for elevation.
