I was curious if a fluted barrel would  affect accuracy?

Fluted barrels increase the surface area of the barrel allowing it to dissipate heat much faster than a standard barrel and a lot faster than a bull barrel. Flutes also make the barrel more rigid, not necessary as rigid as a big bull barrel, but more rigid than a barrel of the same weight. All-in-all fluits might make your barrel more accurate if you're going to be sustaining fire or if you need a light gun a medium contour fluted barrel will be more accurate than a light contour barrel of the same quality.

Hope this helps

Vandenburg told me that if it's not done right the stress on the Bbl would make it's accuracy off, or something like that. He told me not to do it pretty much, and he's an expert on Bbls

See I'ver heard a non fluted barrel was more accurate. I'm just really torn on fluted barrels. How does fluting a barrel make it more rigid?

Gale Mcmillan wrote an article on it years back. I think one of the match barrel sites has it posted somewhere.
