Im looking for one of those foregrips with the strap on it so your hand doesn't slide off of it. (wish I had a pic, sorry). Does anyone know where I could get one?

Get some Nylon/Poly web from Ace/True Value/Ben Franklin and attach it to your hand guard.  Very easy to do.  All you need is a drill bit, 4 rivets and a rivet gun.  I'm doing another one tomorrow night.  I'll post photos and some instructions if you like.

Feel free to email/im with any questions you might have.

Mossberg is using them on certain models from the factory and has them available for sale as an accessory I believe.

Here we go....

Tools:

1. Rivet gun (I prefer manual to air or power for better feel)
2. Rivets (aluminum or steel, your choice), I used steel 1/8" diameter, 1/4" grip
3. Tape measure
4. Lighter, butane torch, heat gun (to cook the ends of webbing to prevent fraying)
5. Electric/Battery operated drill
6. Appropriate size drill bit for rivets (go with a smaller bit size for a really tight fit)
7. Spring loaded punch (not a must but I have one so why not use it?)

Supplies:

1. Shotgun forward grip
2. Webbing of your choice (I used 1-1/4" from a duffel bag strap)
3. Glue/cement to hold extra layer of webbing on

This should take about 45 minutes the first time.  If you mess up, just start over with a new piece of webbing.

Start with a length of webbing about 10" (better to have too much).  Just don't glue or pull the rivets until you're absolutely satisfied with the webbing placement!

Remember, we don't know who will be using this shotgun.  Your dad, mom, wife, roommate, friend, gloves, no gloves, swollen hand, etc so leave a bit extra and take out as needed or desired.

Follow the photos and the basic instructions (I added them backwards on Photobucket so start at the back of the album and work forward).  Feel free to email or IM with questions and comments!  Hope this helps!

If anyone wants this done to their grip, I'd be happy to complete the job for them for a small donation to cover my time and materials as I'm only a hobbyist, not a professional.  Let me know!  Thanks!  Mike

I guess I found my calling then!

I tried to keep it simple yet show enough detail to understand clearly.  Fairly easy.  Just take your time and exercise patience.  Remember, measure 10 times, cut/drill once!  You're very welcome!  Glad I have been of some help to you.  Mike D.
