I know this gets asked every once in a while but can anybody tell me what seems to be the current Form 3 time frame right now. I was told last year that in most cases they take less then 6 weeks. Is 6 weeks still the norm?
I ask because I bought an "in stock" SBS and have been waiting on a form 3 for 5 months now. Thanks |
| There is more to it then just the wait time. How did the dealer you bought it from send in the F3? Did they mail it? Or fax it? I've seen F3's get turned around the same day they were faxed in. I've also seen some that sat, and sat, and sat, for whatever reason. But if the dealer mailed it, you'd have an extra week, two weeks just to get the form to the examiners desk, let alone them process it. |
