Does anyone else’s g24 mount make a loud springy noise when you stow and deploy it? Sounds like the spring in the barrel is catching and once it passes a certain point it releases.
Any way to tone it down a bit? |

The way to eliminate it or greatly minimize it is to hold the release the button and control it versus letting it pop out on its own. |

Dab of superlube or other quality synthetic grease in the button barrel sleeve area and working it in will help a tiny bit. They just seem louder after a while since they get dry. Otherwise always ride the button when stowing/deploying.

Yea I guess holding the button is the key. I’ve lubed it and not much difference.
Guess I’m just normally in a rush to deploy and stow them and never just held it down Thanks |
