Does anyone know the angle on the G3K locking piece? I can't find one but I can surface grind a stock one if I knew the angle.

FYI...

If you want to drop $99.00 (+shipping) on the real deal, Gordon Miller (hkspecialist.net) has the correct G3K (#18) locking pieces in stock.

I am betting that they are hardened all the way through and not case hardened.

I read an article about someone (vector maybe) who was making the really short .308 SBR (51?) and they were grinding the locking piece to some custom angle.

Thanks, I will check that out.

Would be easier to order it than set up everything on the grinder.
