I have a GAW garand stock I might sell. What is the going rate for these stocks? I know it's going to depend on condition. I'd say my stock is about 80% and has decent lockup, some dings and dents but I have seen stocks with much worse. It was received on an IHC the CMP sold me years ago. I'm more interested in a shooter then collector. Just looking for general ranges.
Not looking to gouge anyone but don't want to give it away either, if I decide to sell it. |

Condition is everything. However, having all the original stock metal installed and the presence or absence of rebuild markings and rack numbers will also affect the value.
Does your stock have the buttplate and stock ferule installed? Does your stock have any markings other than the SA over GAW cartouche and a single proof "P" on the front of the pistol grip? Do you have pictures? |
