| Hello I need a gps watch that uses utm not just latitude and longitude. Please give me some recommendations. |
|
While I have a Garmin Fenix2 which is able to do all that, I just use it for PT, biking, or emergency shit on hikes(hikes on my own time, not Army shit).
I prefer a Foretrex 401 mounted on my gear if I'm needing a GPS. Also note that many of the GPS watches need charging from time to time. Add that to your considerations. |

GPS watches have a very, very, short battery life if you use it constantly. Unless you have a charger handy, I would recommend getting a separate device if you're going to be headed somewhere out in the wild and don't want to bring along charging packs/solar systems.
But if you're still determined to get one, the two major players: Garmin and Suunto. |
