From the day I pick my GSG522 up. I have been getting lite strike from the firing pin. With some ammo its real bad Win 333 or 555 20 out of 100 will not fire. Even CCI I get 6 out of 100 that will not fire.I put the rounds that will not fire in my Beretta Neo and my CZ452 and they all fire. Called ATI today they told me it was a loose barrel. So i did just what they told my to do,but the barrel was not loose.They told me they would send me a firing pin or I could send it them and they would put a firing pin in it for me. Has any one had this happen to You? |

Been on You Tube for over 1 hour looking for a vido showing how to replace the firing pin. There are some real good how to vidos by okfirearms.But he never go's all the way to the firing pin.And the Handling and Safety Instuctions book You get with the rifle is a JOKE. If anyone know of a vido about firing pin replacement please post it. Alton |

I don't know of any video on how to do it but if you go to the GSG Mods section the first post shows you what needs to be done. It's pretty simple.

I've having the same issue with mine. I saw that someone had removed the firing pin safety because it was impeding the full range of motion of the firing pin. It doesn't require any modding and it can always be reinstalled if need be. I'm going to try it on mine for sure and report back. |
