I just bought a used GSG-5SD.  It looks to be in great condition and shoots fine...most of the time.  However, sometimes it won't fire.  It's not an ammunition fault...the firing pin doesn't fall.  It acts as if it hasn't been charged but it will have ejected the previous spent round and loaded a new one.

Anyone else ever had this issue?  Any suggestions on how to correct it?

Thanks

Yes,  on mine the barrel was loose.  I turned it tight and the serial #s on the barrel lined up on the right side and tighted the lock down screw and it worked fine.

Any time there is a malfunction like this it is best to do a strip down and double check it all.  Go through step by step by the instructions and you should be able to make sure she is cleaned up and ready to shoot and you may find your problem if it is not the barrel as already stated! Good luck and don't be afraid to ask any qeustions alot of people here can help. You can even contact ray through ATI and he may be able to suggest what to check as well. Keep us posted and ask if need be.
