He did some work for me about four or five years ago. He does killer work and is a good guy. If you are a typical arfcom dickhead that has the patience of a three year old, then Garandguy is not your man. If you appreciate absolute perfection and a very honest guy that will find problems you couldn't conceive, he is your guy.

He is a good guy. While I did not have any work completed by him, I bought a parts kit two years ago.
He left out a bullet guide. I did not notice and gave all the parts to my gunsmith. A few weeks later, he calls me and notifies me of a missing part. I called the GarandGuy back and he sent me out another part with no questions asked. So, he gets an A+ in the customer service department.

I have purchased a few M1 parts from him, good to deal with, fast shipping.

Good timely post for me. The Garand Guy's shop is about 20 minutes from my office and I plan to have him convert my new woodless Dane to 308, do a repark and get the trigger done. I would love to able to watch him at work. These damn rifles are worse then a drug addiction.

He builds the closest thing to a NIB Garand you can find.

He will build you a Garand on a slected nice USGI reciever using a new barrel, new wood and all new in the wrap USGI parts for about $1200.
