So I had a gun smith cut, blind pinned and welded my ACR. I shot the ACR a few weeks ago and put it away without cleaning.

Today I went to clean the ACR and couldnt get the gas rod out. I took apart the whole rifle and found the gas rod stuck.

Upon inspection I can see possible erosion inside the gas chamber around the gas port through the barrel and into the gas block.

Does anyone else see this in their rifle? Or am i screwed?

cant really tell , my guess just carbon deposits from where the gas plug sits. just use clr and q tips to check to see if black on q tip then just carbon  or rust??

Yep, just to clarify for everyone that is a gas seal from the factory.
