Will the Gemtech G5 really work with the PS90? I know they make a QD mount for it but I didn't know the rounds were close enough in size.

Is anyone using this set up? Results? Recommendations for a can on a PS90 SBR?

It'll work.  A 5.7 is actually a .224 diameter round, same as the 5.56x45.  You can reload 5.7 cases with the lighter .224 bullets.

If you have a PS90 SBR with the A2 or Vortex flash suppressors, you can run the Halo.  That's the route I'm going, PS90 SBR, 1/2x28 adapter, vortex, and a 2009 Halo.

G5 would be good as well.  Gemtech also made a purpose-built P90 or 5.7 can, but I can't recall its name or designation for the life of me.  Any 5.56 can will work, so long as you can get the mounting figured out.  Gemtech bilock, NATO 22mm, YHM QD on the 1/2x28 adapter, etc etc.

According to gemtechs website, there's a special flash hider for use of the G5 on a p90
