What host weapons do you plan on using it with? I've got one that I use on a 16" POF gas piston and a 10.5" & 18" LMT MRP. I like using it on the POF the most for some reason, only have put a couple of hundred rounds through it. I bought a Quicksand first and if you don't have a 308 suppressor yet, you might consider the Quicksand as I can't tell the difference in sound reduction between the two on 5.56 and it's only slightly longer and heavier. Whichever way you go, you'll be happy with the performance and the quick detach feature. Now for some peekchurs...

Yes and yes.
I have shot many different 5.56 suppressors and it's my favorite. Great can, buy it! Or ... Get the Quicksand if you're planning on a .308 suppressor later & use it on 5.56 like slipjett said =). You can always get a dedicated 5.56 suppressor down the road. The low tone of the Quicksand on 5.56 is more pleasant to my ear than the G5-T. G5-T 14.3oz Quicksand 17.5 oz |
