Will update with a new thread at a later date. Gemtech is working on fixing my problem.

Do you know someone with a different silencer that will fit your gun that will accompany you to the range for tests?
If so, consider the following: Take the handloads out of the equasion. Shoot factory loaded 168 grain FGMM SBTHPs. Shoot on a day with little or no wind. Early or late usually works. Shoot from exactly the same position and range. Shoot ten shots with no silencer or silencer QD mount. Shoot ten shots with silencer number one. Shoot ten shots with silencer number two. Then get the friend who let you use his silencer repeat the exact same drill himself. |

Maybe you could adjust the torque of the bi-lock and get it to group better.
If the bi-lock is the culprit changing torque should change results on your tension mount as that long length of threaded barrel will probably react differently with different torque. Before I edm ported the HP LLC Scout silencer I shot a couple 5/8" 5 shot groups at 100yards with it on my FN SPR with HSM 175's. I haven't grouped it post porting but it could be worse with an assymetric blast baffle. |

Gemtech got in touch with me and they are going to see if they can take care of this for me. I've spent a lot of time and money on my HVT and it looks like they want to make it right. I will update the thread as the events unfold. Right now, I feel pretty good about it. -X |
| I have a hvt thread mount and it shoots awesome on semi and bolt. All of my threaded .308's have a 1/10 twist I wonder if that might have something to do with it along with not having the bi-lock. I have a 18in savage that shoots 1in and less at 190 yds with the hvt mounted. I have only got to shoot the can twice as I am still waiting on the paperwork(pretty good friends with my dealer),but both times I put at least 75 rounds through savage and my dpms 308 sass type. The people at gem-tech are good people dont get discouraged they will most likely make it right. |

I guess maybe I just got a lemon. Hey, it happens. Gemtech's customer service is what sets them apart from all the others and right now Kel is working to make it right. -X |

Black x what did it take to hear from gem tech,I have not tried but would like to,so far I have sent two emails to my dealer with no reply. Just give them a call or shoot them an email. They all seem to be really good people but I bet they are super busy right now (try to remember that the SHOT show is just around the corner!). -X |
| I have 5 gemtech suppressors. They have always gone above and beyond to service my needs. I've even received free or discounted service/hardware for reasons that weren't their fault. Don't know what else to say, they've always taken care of me and will take care of you too. |
